Hello Friends and Family,
As most of you already know. I am passionate about cycling and traveling. Well, with the support of my husband Jaime and our kids Jaime, Ricardo and Allyson, (the babies don"t know Abuela will be gone for 2 mos) I am finally doing this Cross Country Trip. We will cycle the Southern Tier. Which means: We will cycle from Oceanside Ca., dip our toes and front tire into the ocean. Then cycle all the way to St. Augustine Florida. And, we will dip our toes and front tire into the ocean there too. This has been something I have wanted to do for a long time now. But our family is so tight, its hard to leave them for so long. . I know, I know, it sounds painful, but to us Roadies, it sounds like heaven.
We started adding mileage to our week at the beginning of the year in preparation for riding everyday. Everybody says the same thing, you just need TITS, (I know what you"re thinking) but its Time in The Saddle!!! So, thats what we are doing...
Our date of departure is Saturday, April 4th, 2009.
