Hi Folks, we are in Florida to stay for a while. Can't believe it's day 40 already!!! We had a nice ride today. Took a really nice bike path for 7 miles then onto small farm roads. And by the way, there is more Texas twang in this part of Florida than there was in Texas...Go Figure!!! A very nice ride. We actually climbed over 1800 ft. We enjoy the rollers.. Rode alot on a busy road though after we got off the farm roads... We had a lovely picnic at a park with a lake. Lots of ducks and swans. It was very pretty... We got caught in the rain at about 48 miles. Joe bailed us out for about 2 miles then it was clear , sunny and very warm.. We got out of the car and rode all the way in. A 60 mile day today... The humidity and heat are rising... We're still having a great time...
