Today no alarm went off, so neither did we. We had a nice quiet breakfast in our suite. After all we have everything we like to eat. So, we had breakfast in our pj's. Ahh, Nice!!
Relaxed by the pool and did laundry. We are all caught up on arranging and rearranging all our stuff. I had been having real trouble with foot pain. So, we went to one of the local bike shops and strutted our stuff. All were very impressed with our journey. Got, what they said I needed and more. So, hope I do not have anymore of that pain.
Tomorrow, we set off for Globe Az, and start our 5000+ ft climb. Praying for no winds, no rain and is it too much to pray for ....tailwinds?? Maybe I'm being greety. After all, how many wish they could be here riding with us...

Hi Malena, we are all proud of you, hope you recover with that foot pain of yours. You are doing a great job, I admire you for what you are doing, I would like to do what you are doing, but all I need is to drop just a couple LBS HAHAHA. God Bless :)
Hope your foot pain is better. You're right about one thing -- we do wish we could be riding with you! We really look forward to your posts.
HI Malena, Connie from Michigan here, sure hope your foot pain gets better! What caused it and what did the local bike shop give you to stop the pain??
Sure wish I would have been able to tag along! However, I have been crosscountry skiing nearly every day all winter and we still have a few more days of snow skiing before everyone gets their bikes out!! However, a few of us went for a bike ride Saturday but one road of our intended loop still had 3 feet of snow on it! Have fun gals and I sure enjoy hearing every word you two write about this trip! Connie
