I AM WOMAN!!!
Well, we are officially on DeeTour Malena Five-O. Our club rode out with us from San Marcos this morning. We were very honored to have so many friends joining us and wishing us a good trip.
Thanks family who drove to see us off. I have very mixed feelings right now. But, I remind myself how blessed I am to have my families support on my adventure.
We rode around 54 miles and climbed 5000 feet. Our friend Kathy Pippen was the only one to ride all the way with us. We felt great. And had beautiful scenery along the way. Jaime passed us up and met us in Julian and had dinner with us.

Tomorrow: Julian to Brawley approx. 82 miles. Praying for tailwinds tonight. Again, friends are coming out to ride that second leg with us. Are we blessed or what??
